About Us

The Wheatbelt Business Network (WBN) is about promoting and meeting local business needs. It is coordinated by a volunteer Executive Officer (Caroline Robinson) with a volunteer Regional Board across Merredin, Narembeen, Kondinin and Northam.

The WBN provides a forum for businesses and the community to network and participate in Business After Hours and Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’s on specific issues effecting business in the Wheatbelt.

Join home based businesses, community organisations, small businesses, not for profit, government and corporations operating in the region and take advantage of the benefits of the network. We are currently operating in the Shires of Merredin, Narembeen and Kondinin.

The WBN is supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA (CCIWA), providing you with the knowledge and insight into local, state and national business issues and trends.

Why network?

Why not? Networking is essential to business today and it is more than business card swapping! Networking is about mixing business and pleasure. Your attendance at each WBN event will be an investment in business growth, training and the development of solid business and even personal relationships. The WBN is all about getting to know people and businesses in your town and region. The WBN will help members get together – providing valuable opportunities to learn from each other, form partnerships and strategic alliances, voice business concerns, discover new marketing opportunities, and develop professionally and personally.
